Profile Events
The Profile Events page gives account admins a record of security- and access-related changes made to user profiles and permissions in their account. It answers a simple question: who changed what about our users and their access, and when.
How to navigate to Profile Events
- From the dashboard, open Settings.
- Select Profile Events.
- The page opens with the recorded profile and permission changes listed, most recent first.

The Profile Events page is available to admin users.
Profile Events vs. the Activity Log
Your account includes two audit views. They are built on the same underlying system but answer different questions, so it helps to know which one to open.
| Profile Events | Activity Log |
|---|---|
| Tracks changes to users, their profiles, and their permissions — the security and access side of the account. | Tracks changes to platform configuration and data — what changed in how the product is set up and run. |
| Answers: "Who changed a user's profile, permissions, or login settings?" | Answers: "Who changed our campaign, audience, or data configuration?" |
| Examples: an email address changed on a profile, two-factor authentication turned off, or a permission granted or removed. | Examples: changes within product areas such as Audience Activation and Data Ups. |
In short: open Profile Events when you are reviewing user accounts, access, or login security. Open the Activity Log when you are reviewing changes to how the platform itself is configured.
What the Profile Events page shows
The page records security-relevant changes to the accounts and access of users in your account. These fall into two groups.
Profile changes
Changes to a user's profile are recorded with the value before and after the change. The following profile attributes are tracked:
- Email address
- Name
- Role
- Two-factor authentication — when 2FA is turned on or off
- Password — when a password is changed
- Contact ID
- Profile created — when a profile is first added
- Profile joined — when a user joins the account
Permission changes
Changes to what a user is allowed to access are recorded as a single Permission Change event. Each one captures:
- The access level at which the change was made
- The permission that was granted or removed
- The dealership and product the change applies to
- Whether the permission was removed as part of an inherited change
This is a view-only record. The Profile Events page lets you review what changed; it does not send alerts or email notifications. To check for recent changes, open the page and review the most recent entries.
Reading an entry
Entries are listed with the most recent change at the top. Each row shows:
- Time — the date and time of the change
- Event Type — the kind of change (for example, a profile attribute that changed, or "Permission Change")
- Profile — the user the change applies to
- Action Initiator — for permission changes, the user who made the change
- Details — for profile changes, the before and after values; for permission changes, the permission, access level, dealership, and product
You can narrow the list using the date range at the top of the page, filter by event type, or search by profile or initiator to find changes affecting a specific user.
Frequently asked questions
Will I be emailed when something changes?
No. The Profile Events page is a record you review on demand. It does not send notifications.
What's the difference between this and the Activity Log?
Profile Events covers changes to users, profiles, and permissions (the security and access side). The Activity Log covers changes to platform configuration and data. See the comparison above.
Why don't I see a change I expected?
Profile Events records profile and permission changes. Changes to product configuration appear in the Activity Log instead.
