Overview
Every CRM applies its own default Do Not Contact (DNC) rules, and those defaults don't always serve a dealership well inside the CDP. A new CRM may ship with conservative contact defaults that suppress a large share of a dealership's contacts from email outreach. The same issue shows up during bulk data migrations between vendors, where import defaults are often set in a way that limits performance rather than optimizing for it.
To address this, dealerships have the option to override their CRM's Do Not Contact (DNC) settings at the CDP level, rather than being limited by whatever contact defaults their CRM or import vendor applied.
How It Works
With this feature enabled, the CDP stops applying consent signals sourced from the National DNC list when determining who can be contacted.
Where to Find It
This is a dealership-level setting, managed on the DNC Settings page:
https://dashboard.fullpath.com/settings/dealership/national-dnc
How to Use It
This feature is off by default. To turn it on, a dealership must review and acknowledge liability on the DNC Settings page, then check the box to enable the override themselves.
To enable the override:
- Navigate to the DNC Settings page at the URL above.
- Review the liability acknowledgment presented on the page.
- Check the box to enable the National DNC override.
Enabling this setting requires the dealership to acknowledge liability for outbound contact compliance in place of the National DNC signal. This is a dealership-initiated decision and cannot be enabled on a dealership's behalf.
