Overview
The new Delivery feature within the Dealership Services page in Lead Handling settings allows dealerships to specify whether they offer vehicle delivery services and define the delivery radius. This information is made available to Lead Handling Agents to enhance conversations and interactions with leads by providing accurate delivery details.
Scope
- Feature available to users with Admin or Edit permissions.
- Located inside Lead Handling product under Lead Handling > Settings > Dealership Services.
- Currently, Delivery is the first configurable service on the Dealership Services page.
Technical Eligibility
- User must have Admin or Edit role permissions for Lead Handling settings.
Access to Lead Handling Settings menu.
Roles and Permissions
- Admin and Edit users can enable, configure, or disable the Delivery feature.
- Users without these permissions cannot view or modify Dealership Services settings.
Navigation
- Log in to the Lead Handling Dashboard.
- Navigate to Lead Handling from the main menu.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Dealership Services.
How to Enable and Configure Delivery Feature
Enable Delivery
- Within Dealership Services settings, locate the Delivery toggle.
- Toggle ON the Delivery feature to enable vehicle delivery information.
- Upon toggling ON, a numeric input field will appear below.
Configure Delivery Radius
- Enter the delivery radius (in miles) that your dealership services around its location.
- Only numeric input is accepted.
- Click outside the input box to trigger autosave of the radius value.
- The system will save the configuration automatically without needing to click a separate save button.
Disable Delivery
- To disable delivery service information, toggle the Delivery switch to OFF.
- The radius field will be hidden and the feature disabled.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure you have the proper permissions (Admin or Edit) to view and modify the Dealership Services settings.
- If the numeric input field does not appear after enabling Delivery, try refreshing the page and re-enabling the toggle.
- Only numeric values are accepted for the delivery radius. Non-numeric input will not be saved.
- The autosave function triggers upon clicking outside the input box; avoid entering data and closing the browser immediately.
- If changes do not persist, clear browser cache or try from a different supported browser.
Additional Notes
- Delivery radius is used by Lead Handling Agents in their communications to inform leads about delivery availability.
Additional Dealership Services features may be added to this page in future releases.
