The following article outlines how to enable API access within DealerTrack.
Instructions:
For establishing connections to your DMS, please follow these steps to add the required APIs in DealerTrack:
- Navigate to the top right corner of your DealerTrack Dashboard, click on "More,"
- Select "Data Exchange"
- Select "OpenTrack"
- If you do not see OpenTrack, this indicates that your user does not have the necessary permissions have not been granted, a Dealership employee with requisite permissions inside of Dealer track will need to complete the steps.
- Click "Add" (keep in mind, each API must be added individually, as the multi-select option does not function)
- Customers, Deals, Vehicles, Parts & Service
- Alternatively, users can manually enter “FUL” to facilitate the process.
- Set the end date, ensuring that this field is left blank.
Once completed, please send your onboarding specialist the enterprise code and company code, which can be found in the bottom right corner of the screen.
