Price Display in Vehicle-Specific Ads
Overview
The Price Display in Vehicle-Specific Ads setting lets you enforce that a price always appears in any ad, message, or offer that references a specific vehicle — helping your dealership stay aligned with pricing-transparency regulations like the California CARS Act and FTC Act §5.
Regulations like the California CARS Act require that any advertisement or message referencing a specific vehicle also display that vehicle's price. Historically, this meant checking each activation product individually to confirm price display was handled correctly. The new dealership-level setting gives you one place to enforce this across your account.
When enabled, the setting removes the option to omit price on vehicle-specific ads in connected products, so your team doesn't have to manage this rule product by product.
How It Works
The setting lives at the dealership level and acts as a master preference. Individual activation products — including Audience Activation (AA) — listen to this master setting:
When the setting is off (default):
- Products retain their existing New Car Display Price options, including the option to show no price.
When the setting is on:
- The "No Price Display" option is disabled for New Car Display Price in AA, leaving only price-displaying options available.
Where to Find It

How to Use It
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Dealership > Federal Compliance.
- Find the Price Display in Vehicle-Specific Ads setting.
- Toggle Enforce display of price in all vehicle-specific ads on to require price display, or leave it off to keep existing product-level display options.
- Review the display price options in each connected product (e.g. AA) to confirm the correct option is selected for your account.
