Overview
VINs Acceleration Custom Campaigns let CDP Pro Dealers create their own targeted ad campaigns on top of an existing VINs Acceleration package — built around a specific Inventory Segment rather than a Shopper audience. Where DigAd Custom Campaigns target a Dynamic Audience of people, VINs Acceleration Custom Campaigns target a defined set of vehicles (for example, "2026 Telluride, in-stock, under 90 days").
Navigation
Custom Campaigns are created, activated, and managed from the Inventory Segments page: Dashboard > Audiences > Inventory Segments (dashboard.fullpath.com/inventory/segments).
If you land on the VINs Acceleration Campaigns page first (VINs Acceleration > Campaigns) and don't yet have an active segment, a banner there links you directly to Inventory Segments to create one.
Creating a VINs Acceleration Custom Campaign
At a glance:
- Select or create an Inventory Segment
- Set the campaign budget and review the VDP views goal
- Review channels (auto-applied)
- Activate the campaign
Step 1 — Select an Inventory Segment
Choose from your predefined list of saved Inventory Segments, or create a new one. The Custom Campaign creation flow shows the segment's name, characteristics, and current, real-time matching VIN count.
Once a segment is activated for a Custom Campaign, the segment itself can't be edited — matching VIN counts continue to update in real time to reflect active inventory, but the segment's defining criteria are locked.
Step 2 — Set the campaign budget and VDP views goal
Enter a budget as a free-text amount. This budget is deducted from your total, "regular" VINs Acceleration budget — it does not add on top of it. The system validates your entry against the currently unspent/available portion of that total budget.
The campaign's VDP views goal is calculated automatically from its share of the total VINs Acceleration budget. For example: with a total budget of $1,100 and a 680 VDP views goal, allocating $200 to a new Custom Campaign sets that campaign's goal to roughly 126 views (200 ÷ 1,100 × 680), and the regular VINs Acceleration budget/goal adjusts down to keep the totals consistent.
Step 3 — Review channels
Channel selection is not user-configurable in this flow — every VINs Acceleration Custom Campaign automatically runs across all active channels (Search, Display, and Social networks, including targeted email marketing). The wizard displays a general statement to this effect rather than a channel picker.
Step 4 — Review and activate
Confirm the segment, budget, and VDP views goal, then activate. Once active, the campaign begins drawing its budget from the total VINs Acceleration package as described above.
Budget Rules and Monthly Deadlines
- All budget defaults to the regular ("System") VINs Acceleration campaign; Custom Campaign budgets are drawn directly from that pool.
- If a Custom Campaign is deleted or its budget reduced, any unspent funds flow back to the System campaign automatically.
- The total VINs Acceleration package budget cannot be lowered below the amount currently committed to active Custom Campaigns.
- Creating, editing, or deleting a Custom Campaign is only allowed until the 21st of each month. After that date, changes are locked for the remainder of the month — you can open an existing campaign to view it, but can't save changes until the next cycle.
Managing Custom Campaigns
From the VINs Acceleration Campaigns page, you can view budget allocation and performance for both the regular System campaign and each Custom Campaign side by side. A "Custom Campaigns" tile reflects the combined custom campaign budget against the total package budget.
