Overview
This article provides a detailed explanation of the metrics, layout, and functionality of the Display Advertising reporting page within the DigAds paid ads product. The Display Advertising overview page is designed to help users monitor ad campaign performance through a comprehensive set of metrics and visualizations. It is accessible to all users with DigAds product access on an account.
There are 2 versions of the Display overview page and depending on which channels you have enabled you may see a slightly paired down version:

Scope
- Product: DigAds
- Feature: Display Advertising Reporting Page
- Access: Any user with DigAds product permissions on the respective account
- Focus: Understanding key metrics, page layout, and interactive controls for campaign reporting
Access and Navigation
- Log into the Dashboard
- Navigate to DigAds from the main product menu
- Select Display Advertising under the DigAds submenu
- The Display Advertising reporting page will load with default or previously selected date range and settings

Date Range Selection
- Located at the upper right corner of the page
- Users can select a custom date range to filter all data presented across the page
- Metrics are anchored to this date range; however, attribution windows (e.g., view-through conversions) may extend beyond the selected period for accuracy in tracking outcomes
AI Generated Performance stories
- Displays an automatically created, data-driven narrative summarizing key insights for the selected timeframe and filters (maximum 3 month look-back).
- The story updates dynamically whenever you change the date range or chart layers.
Page Layout and Sections
1. Top Performance Highlights
This section is divided into three subsections providing key campaign insights:
Results:
- Viewability Rate: The percentage of an online ad that is actually seen by users
- Average Frequency: The average number of times an individual in the target audience is exposed to your ad during the selected date range
- AVG CPM: The average cost per 1,000 ad impressions
Interactions:
- Clicks: Number of user clicks on the ad
- Page Views: Number of views generated on landing pages after interacting with an ad
- Phone Calls: Number of calls initiated following ad exposure
Actions:
- Running Ads: Count of ads actively running in the selected period
- Impressions: Total number of times ads were served
- Total Spend: Total budget spent on the campaign during the selected timeframe
2. Performance Metric Comparison Chart
- This central chart visualizes multiple performance metrics over time
- Users can toggle day, week, or month views for granular or aggregate trend analysis
- Facilitates quick identification of performance fluctuations and comparisons
3. View-Through Conversions Module (Side Panel)
- Displays conversions that occur after a user views an ad but may not have clicked it directly

Breaks down attributed conversions into:
- Page Views
- Leads
- Calls
- Helps measure the indirect impact of the Display Advertising campaigns
4. Performance Table (Bottom Section)

Interactive table allows toggling between different breakdowns:
- Objective
- Ad Bundle
- Ad
- Users can analyze performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions) by each segment
- Functionality to pause specific objectives, ad bundles, or individual ads:
- Select the checkbox next to the row or column of interest
- Choose the ‘Pause’ action from the dropdown menu above the table
- Confirm to pause the selected items, which will stop them from running in active campaigns
Definitions
- Average Frequency: Average exposures per user in the target audience during the date range
- Viewability Rate: Percentage of the ad that is actually viewed by users
- AVG CPM: Average cost per 1,000 impressions
- View-Through Conversions: Actions taken by users (page views, leads, calls) after they see an ad but do not click it directly
Additional Notes
- Attribution windows may cause some conversion data to attribute beyond the selected date range
- Access to this page includes the ability to view and manage campaign performance but does not require elevated permissions beyond DigAds product access
