Overview
The Manage Enriched Data feature, found within the Identity Resolution tab on the CDP Shopper page, allows users to control which enriched data points are available for activation across CDP engagement products. This capability helps dealers tailor their activation campaigns by selectively enabling or disabling enriched contact and vehicle information.
Note: for those with Enriched Shopper Data, this feature manages what is available for activation, however Shopper communication preferences are a separate set of preferences which rely on available data, but relate more to which contact details one is permitted to use (othose available).
Scope
This feature is exclusively available to accounts with the Data Enrichment add-on enabled. It is intended for Dealers, Customer Success and support teams assisting dealers in managing enriched data usage for activation purposes.
Technical Eligibility
- The Data Enrichment add-on must be active on the dealer’s CDP account.
- The user must have appropriate permissions to access the Shopper page and modify Identity Resolution settings.
Role/Permission Notes
Only users with access to the Shopper page and Identity Resolution tab can view and manage enriched data settings.

Using Manage Enriched Data
What You Can Manage
- Enriched phone numbers
- Enriched email addresses
- Enriched vehicle details
Managing Enriched Data Points
- Enable Enriched Data: Toggle individual enriched data points ON to include them in activation campaigns. This means activation products will use the enriched phone, email, or vehicle details for engagement such as email sends, SMS outreach, or phone calls.
- Disable Enriched Data: Toggle individual data points OFF to exclude them from activation campaigns. Disabled data points will not be used in engagements, though the data remains visible.
Visual Indicators
- Enabled data points: Appear normally and are active for engagement.
- Disabled data points: Appear greyed out to indicate they are inactive for activation.
Vehicle Details Specific Behavior
- Disabling a specific enriched vehicle moves it to the “Previously Owned” section of the Garage tab.
- Greyed out vehicles do not participate in any activation engagement targeting vehicle details.
Important Notes
- Enriched data is always visible on the Shopper page under Identity Resolution, regardless of activation status.
- Disabling data does not delete it; it only prevents its use in activation channels.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If a dealer cannot see the Manage Enriched Data section, verify that the Data Enrichment add-on is enabled and the user has the necessary permissions.
- Confirm that toggles accurately reflect the dealer’s intended activation settings by cross-referencing with engagement campaigns.
- If enriched vehicle details do not appear in the Garage tab after disabling, check UI refresh and user role permissions.
