Overview:
Fullpath Dynamic Payments (previously FUSE) powers your dealership website specials page. Shoppers can view dealer specials that are automatically updated based on available inventory and lender programs. Shoppers can provide personal information and lock in a special offer, which submits a lead to the dealership. Payment specials are displayed based on dealership profitability configurations.
How it works:
Fullpath Dynamic Payments accesses the dealer’s inventory through their syndication service up to eight times per day. Calculations use available rates, rebates, and residuals to return the most aggressive payment consistent with dealership profitability configurations. Specials are displayed on the vehicles and programs selected in the dealership configuration settings. Once a vehicle is sold, it is automatically replaced with a new special that meets the dealership configurations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Overview
Question: What is Dynamic Payments?
Answer: Dynamic Payments (DP) automates creation, management, and publishing of lease and finance offers tied directly to a dealer’s VIN-level inventory. It combines dealer inventory, OEM incentives, and lender programs to produce real, actionable offers for customers and keeps those offers synchronized across ads, website VDPs, marketing, and sales tools.
Product features
Question: What key features does DP provide?
Answer:
- Automated, VIN-by-VIN specials page updates (daily)
- Multiple lenders integrated to show competitive lease/finance deals beyond OEM captive programs
- Support for multiple offers per vehicle model (typically up to 5–6)
- Syndication of offers to digital ads, email/SMS, VDP banners, and ChatGPT-powered shopping tools
- Ability to include dealer markups/fees and build profitability into offers
- Asset generation for dynamic banners and some slide templates based on live offer data
Offers & types
Question: What types of offers are available?
Answer:
- Lease: 10% down, 0% down (first payment & fees), Sign-and-Drive (no money up front), One-pay lease
- Finance: Monthly payment and APR specials
- Total Savings: Displays difference between MSRP and the dealer’s advertised price
Question: How many offers per vehicle?
Answer: DP supports multiple offers per model — typically up to 5–6 options to present diversified buying paths.
Data sources & lender support
Question: Where does DP get lease and finance data?
Answer: Lender programs (rates, residuals, max markup, expirations, fees/taxes) are sourced from MarketScan. OEM programs are also pulled daily from FullPath’s/OEM data feeds.
Question: What types of lenders can a dealer use?
Answer: Any lender that provides a rate sheet can be used. All captive lenders are available; larger banks that don’t publish digital rate sheets (e.g., some Chase/Wells/BOA/US Bank scenarios) may be unavailable unless a rate sheet is provided. FullPath can add lenders manually or create custom lenders when dealers provide the necessary data.
Question: Can a dealer add lenders that don’t provide a digital rate sheet?
Answer: Yes. Options include implementing a digital rate sheet, FullPath manually adding bank tables, or creating custom lenders from dealer-provided parameters.
Updates & inventory
Question: How often do offers and programs update?
Answer: Offers update daily in the morning to reflect inventory, pricing, or lender/OEM program changes in the prior 24 hours. If immediate updates are required, DP can be triggered manually and new offers typically appear on the site within 1–2 hours.
Question: How often is inventory updated?
Answer: Inventory is updated according to your inventory provider’s refresh cadence — up to eight times per day.
Question: When is inventory added or removed?
Answer: A VIN is added when a VIN and sales price are received from the inventory provider. It is removed when the provider marks the unit unavailable (sold/traded).
Deal presentation & dealer controls
Question: Can the dealership add or remove fees/taxes?
Answer: Yes. A dealership admin can add or remove fees and taxes from Settings at any time.
Question: Can the dealership add or remove lenders?
Answer: Yes. A dealership admin can add or remove lenders in Settings. Your CSM can assist. Lenders providing digital rate sheets are added most quickly; FullPath can add lenders manually or create a custom lender if needed.
Question: Can the dealership choose which vehicle specials to show?
Answer: Yes. Dealers can build specials, set loss leaders, and select specific vehicles. Most options are in Settings; for complex setups consult your CSM.
Question: What terms does DP use for presenting lease or retail payments?
Answer: Payments are displayed per the dealer’s configuration: selling price, rate markup, term, local fees/taxes, and other variables set in Settings.
Question: Are payments transactable or estimates?
Answer: Payments are transactable and reference the bank and program details so the deal can be recreated by F&I/desk staff.
Protections & governance
Question: What protections are in place for the dealer?
Answer: All critical parameters (taxes, fees, rate markup, selling price, disclosures) are controlled by the dealership. FullPath can custom-configure settings to match a dealer’s merchandising and profitability objectives.
Connected ecosystem & marketing
Question: How does DP connect to FullPath’s ecosystem?
Answer: DP integrates with FullPath’s digital advertising, audience activation, VDP banners, and ChatGPT-powered tools — ensuring ad copy, landing pages, and on-site offers are consistent and up to date.
Question: Can DP generate marketing collateral like slides and banners?
Answer: Yes. DP can create and update banner assets and certain slide templates from live offer data. There are some limitations on visual customization depending on graphic formats; discuss requirements with your CSM to confirm capabilities.
Reporting & ROI
Question: Are reporting and ROI tools available?
Answer: Reporting is available but historically limited. FullPath is actively enhancing reporting and attribution capabilities to better demonstrate ROI tied to Dynamic Payments.
Leads & CRM impact
Question: How do DP deals impact leads and the CRM/sales process?
Answer: Leads tied to a specific offer carry exact payment/offer details into sales workflows. This provides accurate self-qualification, reduces desk friction, improves desking accuracy, and lowers customer objections about mismatched offers.
