Auto-Generated Disclaimers for Offers
Save time and stay consistent. Instead of writing Terms & Conditions from scratch for every Dealership offer, your account can be set up with disclaimer templates that auto-fill with each offer's data — pricing, lease terms, expiration dates, and more.
Availability: This feature is only available for dealerships with the Dynamic Payments product. If Dynamic Payments isn't part of your subscription, the Generate Disclaimer button won't appear in your account.
How it works
Your Fullpath team configures one template per offer type — Cash, Lease, Finance, and Off MSRP — using placeholders for the values that change between offers. When you create a new offer, one click generates a complete, consistent disclaimer using the data you've entered.
You can still edit any disclaimer manually if you need to.
Setting up templates
Template setup is handled by your Fullpath support team to ensure your disclaimers stay legally compliant and consistent across your offers.
To get templates set up or updated:

- Contact Fullpath Support
Let us know the disclaimer language you want for each offer type (Cash, Lease, Finance, Off MSRP) and we'll configure it for your account.
Using templates in the Add Offer flow
Once your templates are configured, here's how to use them.
Step 1. Go to Offers → Add Offer. Select the offer type and fill in the offer details (vehicle info, pricing, terms, expiration date, etc.).

Step 2. Scroll to the Terms & Conditions section. Click Generate Disclaimer.

Step 3. Your disclaimer appears in the Terms field, with values from your offer filled in automatically.

Step 4. Review the text. Edit it manually if you need to, then save the offer.
Editing and regenerating

Edit manually: Click into the Terms field and change anything you need to. Your edits don't affect the saved template.

Regenerate: If you change the offer details (e.g. update the price or expiration date), click Generate Disclaimer again to pull fresh values from the template.
- Start over: Clear the Terms field and click Generate again to start clean.
Using templates with CSV uploads
When you upload offers in bulk via CSV, disclaimers are generated automatically for every row that doesn’t already include a disclaimer. No extra step required.
How the upload flow works
Step 1. Prepare your CSV as usual with your offer data.
Step 2. Upload the file on the Offers page.

Step 3. The system validates the file before the upload completes. If any rows are missing data that your templates need (e.g. a Lease row without a monthly payment), you'll see those rows flagged in the error table — same as any other CSV validation error.

Step 4. Fix the missing data in your file and re-upload. Once the file passes validation, all disclaimers generate silently in the background.
Step 5. After upload, open any offer to review or edit its disclaimer individually.
Overriding the template per row
If your CSV file already contains a disclaimer column with text for a given row, that text is used as-is and overrides the template for that offer. Use this when a specific offer needs custom Terms & Conditions that don't fit the standard template.
Rows without a disclaimer in the CSV fall back to the template for their offer type.
Missing information
If any required fields are empty when you click Generate, the system will fill in what it can and flag the rest. You'll see an error showing which fields are missing — for example, [LeaseAmountPerMonth] if you haven't entered a monthly payment yet.

To fix it:
- Fill in the missing offer fields and click Generate Disclaimer again, or
- Edit the disclaimer text manually to remove the bracketed placeholder.
The error clears automatically once all placeholders are resolved.
FAQ
Do I have access to this feature? Only if your account has the Dynamic Payments product. If you don't see a Generate Disclaimer button or disclaimers in your uploaded offers, contact your CSM to learn more.
Can I set up the templates myself? Not at this time. Template setup is handled by Fullpath Support to keep your disclaimers compliant and consistent. Contact us to set up or update templates.
Will a template update affect my existing offers? No. Template changes only apply to new offers or when you click Regenerate on an existing offer. Disclaimers already saved to past offers won't change automatically.
Can I have different templates for different offer types? Yes — one template per offer type (Cash, Lease, Finance, Off MSRP), each tailored independently.
Can I override the generated disclaimer for a single offer? Yes. After clicking Generate (or after a CSV upload), the disclaimer text on each offer is fully editable. Your edits are saved with that specific offer and don't affect the template.
For CSV uploads, what happens if my file has a disclaimer column? Any row that includes its own disclaimer text uses that text instead of the template. Rows without a disclaimer fall back to the template for that offer type.
What if my CSV is missing data that the template needs? The upload will fail validation and the affected rows will appear in the error table, just like any other CSV validation issue. Fix the missing fields in your file and re-upload.
Why are dollar amounts and dates formatted automatically? The system handles formatting for currency (with commas and decimals) and dates (M/D/YYYY) so disclaimers look polished without extra work on your end.
I want a different date format or currency style. Can that be changed? Not currently. If this is important to your dealership, let your CSM know — we track feature requests.
What if I need different disclaimers for different states or regions? The current setup supports one template per offer type, per dealership. State- or region-specific variants aren't supported today. Reach out to your CSM if this is a need.
