In general, tags can be divided into two categories: template-based tags (from Tealium
templates) and custom tags.
Template tags provide a user interface (UI) to enter parameters such as IDs.
Custom tags must be configured using scripts.
For both types of tags, follow these steps:
General Steps
1. Go to Tags and search for the specific tag.
2. If it’s available, duplicate the tag. You cannot edit or publish tags with the prefix [CLONE].
Activate the duplicated tag by toggling the switch. A missing consent warning will
appear.
3. Click Consent Integration → Purpose Groups, then click the error warning icon.4. Go to the Map Tags tab, filter for active tags, and map the tag.
5. In the drop-down list, select the relevant technology, check the box, click Apply, and
then Done.
6. The consent integration warning will disappear.
7. If the tag is not listed, follow the procedure described during the onboarding process.Template tags
